Not all Metal Prints are created equally. There is a difference when comparing one lab to another and at Shiny Prints, our quality outshines the rest because we invest in the absolute best equipment and materials in every step of the process. We only use ChromaLuxe panels which are the industry standard for professional photographers and artists. There is simply no alternative and all other options fall flat in comparison.

ChromaLuxe panels are proven to last over 65 years (source 1) (source 2). We also only use the absolute highest quality printers in the industry, the F-series Epson printers provide the sharpest and widest gamut prints for the dye sublimation industry (source). Other labs cut corners to maximize their profits by using converted printers and 3rd party inks which produce blurry and washed out prints.

We elevate the integrity of our products by avoiding cheap looking wood backings and mounts that diminish the quality of the overall print. We only print on metal and we do it right.
Services
Located in the Jupiter area of Palm Beach county in south Florida, Shiny Prints was started in 2013 from a pure passion to create the best possible high end print possible.
Like most great companies, Shiny Prints started in a garage.
Printing on aluminum was not yet mainstream and there were many unknowns about the process and how to perfect it.
Founder and COO, William Heinitz dedicated himself to focus on one product and do it better than anyone else.
Shiny Prints started by working directly with local artists and photographers and received the most critical feedback possible which made it challenging at times to keep going.

The number one complaint that we receive is from new customers who are disappointed that their prints are not matching their monitor.
We try to be proactive about this, especially with professional customers who are reselling their prints and make a living from it.
We want all of our customers to be happy and satisfied with their purchase.
We do everything we possibly can to make sure every print is produced the way it's supposed to.
We always encourage our customers to order a proof first before committing to a larger order so that they can see exactly how their image prints with our lab.
We often get asked how much resolution (or pixels) is required for printing on metal.
In the printing world, the resolution is measured by the number of pixels a photo file contains.
The more pixels, the more resolution it has.
When photographers typically talk about resolution, the usual terminology is DPI which stands for "dots per inch" or PPI which means "pixels per inch".
Technically, PPI is the correct acronym for resolution in a photo since its specifically referring to the number of pixels.
